The IP team at Rise Legal regularly provides guidance on the protection and monetization of intellectual property to a wide range of clients, including startups and large multinational organizations. 

 

Our IP practice extends to conducting search for the purposes of registration of intellectual property, filing and pursuing application for registration of intellectual property before the concerned authorities, initiating and defending oppositions, managing registration formalities and taking care of post registration maintenance. Our IP litigation team regularly advises on strategies in relation to contentious matters concerning intellectual property and represents clients before the Intellectual Property Office (IPO), the Intellectual Property Appellate Board (IPAB) and various courts.

 

We have extensive experience in advising and representing clients on niche intellectual property protection contractual agreements, including licence arrangements, assignment deeds, sale and purchase agreements for content protected by a copyright and management of intellectual property right cancellations.

 

The team has comprehensive expertise in planning anti-counterfeiting strategies for clients which includes conducting raids at counterfeiters' locations with the collaboration of local police and law enforcement officials.
